Glendalough – a Peaceful Irish Haven
On a visit to Dublin, Ireland, a friend took me to Glendalough which turned out to be one of the most beautiful and restful places I have visited. I took the shot of the stream there with one foot on one rock the other on another and my camera perched on a third one. There is a little church there built by St. Kevin who formed one of the few places of learning in Europeduring the Dark Ages. The whole place had a feeling of pride and learning about it.
On the way home we stopped at a waterfall with a view down a long glen.
